Not working on a Mac

Hi

I rented a Mac to transcode some MagicYUV files to ProRes, installed the codec, but Quicktime and Premiere still don't recognise the video files, they are grayed out.

Could anyone help out with how to make MagicYUV work on a Mac?

Adobe has recently completely ditched QuickTime classic support from their products, see here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/quicktime7-support-dropped.html

I believe QuickTime 7 Pro can still read it though, so you can give that a try. Get back to me if that fails and we'll find a solution.

No, Quicktime can't play them...

I'm now converting the files to DNx to be able to then transcode to ProRes on the Macintosh. Apple is ridiculous.
